Games used for personal social development

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a professionally supported program for the personal and social development of preschool children based mainly on movement games and activities of the concrete nursery school. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part defines the concept of prosocial behaviour and the possibilities of child development. The practical part is based on the creation of a project focused on the personal and social development of the child using psychomotor games and activities, its verification and reflection.
Development of prosocial behaviour in Pre-school

This bachelor thesis deals with an issue of the prosocial behaviour development in kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with an introduction of prosocial behaviour and relating concepts are presented. Furthermore, also methods enable to develop behaviour as well as a period of its development in a child are presented. This part of the thesis also explains how is prosocial behaviour related to empathy and emotional intelligence and is focused on the norms of behaviour and rules in the kindergarten. The practical part is based on a project through which a development of prosocial behaviour in the kindergarten is surveyed. This part also includes a class educational program with prosocial methods. The games in which children learn to recognise their peers, as well as games containing physical contacts were used most frequently. The result of this project is a big progress which the children achieved in the field of mutual cooperation and tolerance with and of other children. It was clearly obvious that they helped and respected each other more.
Experiences of Teachers in Czech Nursery Schools with the Persona Dolls Method

The diploma thesis deals with anti-bias education and the Persona Dolls method. The aim of the thesis is to map the experience of teachers in Czech kindergartens who work with the Persona Dolls method and who have completed an accredited long-term Persona Dolls course. The theoretical part focuses on the historical and social context of diversity in the Czech Republic in the 20th century, anti-bias education and the principles and emergence of the Persona Dolls method in the world and in the Czech Republic. The practical part finds out what experience teachers have with the method. Specifically, what do they see as the benefits, risks and obstacles in implementing the method in preschool education and what recommendations do they make. For data collection, an interview method was used with ten graduates of the Persona Dolls course. By analyzing the interviews, it was possible to obtain answers to the research questions posed and to formulate recommendations that emerged from the interviews. Playing as a Means of Development of Prosocial Behaviour

The aim of the thesis is to define the term "game", clarify its part and function in preschool period and connect it to the needs of a preschool child. Theoretical part of the thesis divides games from the point of view of the development of a child, social development, motivation and pedagogical use. The thesis connects games with the development of prosocial behaviour and manners and introduces the process of socialization at preschool age. Next there is connection of prosocial behaviour to the General Educational Programme of Preschool Education, mainly to five branches of education. In practical part there is methodical material, which has been tested in practice and which has been made to develop prosocial behaviour of children, and there are possibilities of using the games with prosocial aims. The games are divided according to their educational use based on Suchánková (2014). In methodical file we can find games focused on motoric, musical, verbal, constructive and primarily on social development. All these games are adjusted to quality development of prosocial behaviour and focused on cooperation, togetherness, communication, respect to each other, acceptance, and also on the appropriate use of the words "thank you" and "please". The file contains also non-prosocial games. These games have always been remade and adapted to prosocial games. All games included in the file have been tested in practice, reports of the observation as well as interview with children are enclosed. Under each game there is its evaluation including recommendation, report of children´s feelings, suitable number of players, possible risks and recommended ways of motivation.
Prosocial behavior in the stories of children's literature

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of prosocial behaviour in a child in a preschool age by using stories and fairy tales containing prosocial elements. It consists of two parts. The theoretical part focus on socialization of the individual and subsequent socialization process of a child in the nursery school, which is further essential for the development of prosociality and the overall emotional development of the individual. Last but not least, this part is devoted to stories that are integral part of every person´s life and at the same time they are a very suitable motivation for working with children. In the practical part, which is based on the theoretical background, there is a weekly integrated unit based on a selected text that deliberately contributes to the development of prosocial behaviour in children in a heterogeneous group. The selected text also relates to the creation of a list of children´s literature with a prosocial accent from which the story is given. Throughout the implementation, observations of individuals, their reaction and later duration of the acquired manifestations are carried out. The results are discussed in the final evaluation of the practical part. The conclusion summarizesthe interconnectedness of unfulfilled goals and objectives.
Developing visual art and social competences in pre school children through expressive disciplines

This bachelor work is a theoretical treatise on developing visual and social competences of pre-school children through expressive means. It comprises in its attachment practical examples of creative activities following on the Framework Educational Program for Pre-school Education. Creative activities herein are focusing on expressive fields, primarily on visual arts education, artefiletics and visual arts drama utilizing animation educational approach and their subsequent reflexion. The aim of this bachelor work is to form a theoretical framework to support creation of a system of activities and specific creative activities in expressive visual art fields aimed at optimising the relationships in groups of children. This set of activities could constitute a part of primary prevention in educational work directed at primary social groups. This system of creative activities is assembled so as to contribute both to daily activities of the nursery school as well as to leisure activities of nursery schools, in schools-in-nature, creative workshops involving parents or in other free time activities intended for pre-school children.
Support of prosocial behaviour of children with special needs and behavioural problems at afterschool clubs

ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with prosocial behavior, the circumstances of its occurrence in children of primary school for children with special educational needs. It is a description of the term of prosocial behavior and briefly shows the history of the education of children with disabilities. The work also describes the school environment of the above-mentioned school, the types of handicap of individual children and describes the situations during which prosocial behavior occurs. In the end, the author tries to combine the findings of prosocial behavior and the history of children's education with their own experience and observation. Multiculturale education in nursery school

This diploma thesis is focused on the way and realisation of multicultural training at nursery schools as well as on preschool children prejudices, children noticing ethnic differences among their peers and it also deals with prosocial behaviour of children who are finishing their preschool education. Theoretical part covers general level of the subject, which is multicultural training at preschool institutions in relation to the general educational plan for nursery schools. It also deals with questions of the origin of prejudices of preschool children and their educational rehabilitation. It determines the age in which children start to notice ethnic differences among their peers and the effects of these differences. Practical part deals with testing of chosen respondents who are finishing preschool education in two classes of different multicultural span and it also investigates the form of specific steps of multicultural education on a sample of nursery schools. The results bring information about prosocial behaviour and possible prejudices among children from different classes. The results of similarity and specific steps of multicultural education lead to the case study of good experience.
Ethical education for second period of the primary school

The diploma thesis is concerned on the issues of introduction of the additional ethical education program to the primary schools. The diploma thesis is focused on the second period (4. 5. grade) of the primary school, which defines RVP ZV. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis explains the initial concept of the ethical education, mainly work of R. R. Olivar, who is followed by L. Lencz. Then, it is concerned on the possibilities of introduction of the ethical education to the School Educational Program and analysis of expected output created by the ethical education in the second period of the primary school. The crux of the diploma thesis is the practical part, where is compiled a part of the output, which are expected in the education program Ethical education for second period. The purpose of the diploma thesis was to show the teachers, who are starting to teach the ethical education, how to fulfil the lessons.

Motivation of volunteers presents one of the specific areas of volunteerism research. The paper brings main theories and thoughts about motivation of volunteers and evaluation their relevancy for Czech settings. Futher the paper presents analyse of already realized partial researchs (above all in students' papers) and proposal of framing theoretical conception for research of motivation in Czech Republic.
